The FBI had claimed that Kyari detained one Kelly Chibuzor at the behest of Hushpuppi for one month to enable the latter and his co-conspirators to fleece their Qatari victim of over $1m. According to the report, the agency also said Hushpuppi paid $20,600 to two bank accounts allegedly provided by the former IRT commander on January 20, 2020. JUST IN: Army helicopter crashes, two onboard officials survive crashby Gemid News1 hour agoA helicopter belonging to the Indian army has crashed in Ranjit Sagar Dam of Pathankot district.Reports revealed that the incident happened on Tuesday in the northern state of Punjab. However, no casualty was recorded in the incident, Naija News reports.“We received information that an army helicopter has crashed in the lake. We rushed our teams to the spot,’’ a police official of Pathankot, Surendra Lamba said in a statement.The reports noted that two pilots from the army aviation Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv helicopter on board survived the crash. Naija News learnt that the helicopter was on a routine sortie when the incident happened today.“The weapon system integrated helicopter had taken off from Pathankot and met with the accident,’’ another report quoting its sources said.In another news earlier, the Federal Aviation Administration in Califonia said it is investigating the cause of a helicopter crash that killed four people during the weekend.According to reports, the tragedy happened on Sunday, August 1 in a remote area of Northern Califonia.It was gathered that the helicopter plummeted from the sky and crashed into a field.According to the Colusa County Sheriff’s Department, the Robinson R66 chopper crashed at 1:15 pm about 65 Mile northwest of Sacramento.

A student in the school where he taught came from behind him, held him by the neck and stabbed him right in the heart. Just like that! Unprovoked, within school premises, and in cold blood.Dashe was not just my friend of over 15 years, but this was a brother with whom I lived and studied. Same room, same department, same study hours. In fact, right from our undergraduate days to when we graduated, it was a consistent relationship of rooted care and love for one another.We would pick up a conversation at just a phone dial. It came so easily because I didn’t even remember again that Dashe is no more.To refer to my friend Dashe in the past tense is the hardest thing I’ve had to do lately. What I feel right now is a pain so deep down inside that cannot be summarized in words. It’s a devastating pain one can’t simply pen down.We’ve lost a genuine human being. Dashe just got married last November, his wife is due for the delivery of their first child soonest… just to have a barbaric student of Government Science Technical College Bukuru (Butech) cut his life and dreams short.My friend was the gentlest man I’ve known yet. Highly dedicated and committed to any task assigned to him. Dashe was simply a brother you can fall back on at anytime, any day. My deepest sympathies go to his wife, Akoti, his mother, and the entire family. May God give you all the peace you need at this time. Simon Ekpa, a disciple of embattled Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to the suspension of Abba Kyari, Deputy Commissioner of Police, by the Nigeria Police Force, NPF.Ekpa said Kyari’s suspension has vindicated his earlier stance that Nigeria is a breeding ground for criminals.Kyari, who is the Head of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), was suspended over his link to internet and cyber crime fraudster, Ramon Abass, popularly known as Hushpuppi.The United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, had linked Kyari to Hushpuppi during their investigation.The FBI had alleged that Hushpuppi bribed Kyari to jail an errant gang member over a fraud deal worth millions of dollars.Following the revelation, the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, had recommended Kyari’s suspension pending the outcome of investigations.A statement by the Force spokesman, Frank Mba, said Kyari will remain out of service as the suspension will help the panel to carry out its investigations into the weighty allegations without interference.Reacting, Ekpa faulted the suspension of Kyari.In a tweet, Ekpa wrote: “We have been vindicated again! Nigeria breeds criminals. The recommendation of the IGP to “suspend” criminal Abba Kyari is another confirmation that they are all criminals.“What is suspension?
